Cristiane Delfina Santos Duarte

Master in Scientific and Cultural Dissemination by Labjor - UNICAMP and Master of Arts in Documentary Practice by Brunel University London, funded by the international scholarship program Chevening, I am a specialist in scientific and cultural outreach. In 2017 I worked as the first Brazilian publicity agent for a scientific maritime expedition from the IODP - International Ocean Discovery Program, selected through the CAPES notice to participate in the Expedition 369 - Australia Cretaceous Climate and Tectonics. As a video producer and editor, I participated in projects for companies such as Canal Futura, Natura, TV Cultura, Vale and Canal RBS Santa Catarina. I made the documentary A Mulher Original, about the Franco-Brazilian archaeologist Niéde Guidon, shown by international festivals including Cannes Short Film Corner and Mostra VerCiência. The archaeologist was also the subject of my master's project in Scientific and Cultural Dissemination at UNICAMP. I was a FAPESP Mídia Ciência scholar 2014 and a collaborating reporter for the science communication magazine ComCiência between 2013 and 2014. Between 2014 and 2015 I was a CNPq fellow participating in the CLIMA Network's Scientific Disclosure and Climate Change Sub-Network, with audiovisual research and production for the magazine ClimaCom, produced by the Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism at UNICAMP, LABJOR and by the INPE Space Research Institute. Graduated in Design at UNESP, with academic/professional exchange abroad - IAESTE - International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience - Croatia, I worked with the development of graphic pieces for the printed newspaper of the southern region of the country. Mestra em Divulgação Científica e Cultural pelo Labjor - Unicamp e Master of Arts in Documentary Practice pela Brunel University London, financiada pelo programa britânico de bolsas Chevening, sou especialista em divulgação científica com foco em planejamento e produção multimídia. Desde 2018 atuo na função de assessora de comunicação no Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais - CNPEM, principalmente em projetos de disseminação nacional e internacional de pesquisas em nanotecnologia e biociências. Em 2017 atuei como a primeira agente de divulgação brasileira em uma expedição científica marítima do IODP - International Ocean Discovery Program, selecionado através do edital CAPES para participar da Expedição 369 - Australia Cretaceous Climate and Tectonics.
