Tiago Matos dos Santos

Doutorando em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), por onde também é Mestre em Relações Internacionais e Bacharel Interdisciplinar em Humanidades com ênfase em Relações Internacionais. Pesquisador do Globalização da Política (GLOPOLI) e membro da Rede de Estudos Agroalimentares Internacionais (REDAGRI). Desenvolve pesquisas relacionadas à governança global, à dinâmica de apropriação transnacional de terras, à agenda agroalimentar de organismos do sistema das Nações Unidas (ONU) e mais recentemente se ocupa de estudar a influência de benchmarks na governança global do Desenvolvimento, com foco em iniciativas do Banco Mundial.

Phd Candidate in International Relations (IR) at Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), where he also holds a Master in IR and a Bachelor in Humanities with a minor in IR. He is also a researcher at the Globalization of Politics (GLOPOLI) and associate member of the Agrifood International Studies Network (REDAGRI). He develops research related to global governance, land grabbing, the UN agencies agrifood agenda and the influence of benchmark in the governance of development.
