Pesquisadora e professora Associada no curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo do Departamento de Arquitetura, Urbanismo e Artes Aplicadas (DAUAP) da Universidade Federal de São João Del-Rei (UFSJ) desde janeiro de 2009, sendo a primeira coordenadora do curso (2009 a 2013 e 2019-2020) e idealizadora de seu Projeto Pedagógico, cuja elaboração e implementação também ocorrem sob sua coordenação. Doutora em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação da Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo - PPGFAUUSP, (2018) na Linha de Pesquisa: Tecnologia da Arquitetura, ênfase em ensino de Projeto de Arquitetura e Urbanismo com a tese: Ensinos da prática em Arquitetura e Urbanismo: concepções subjacentes nos planos dos Estúdios do Curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da UFSJ. 2010-2018. Mestre em Ciências Sociais - Gestão de Cidades, pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais - PUC/Minas (2003) com a dissertação: Mapeando a cidade. Uma percepção urbana a partir das representações da periferia. Graduada em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Escola de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais- EAUFMG (1993). Contribui com o Grupo de Pesquisa A.T.A. (https://linktr.ee/ataufsj) desde 2010. Coordena o Projeto de Extensão LAPP: Laboratório de planos e projetos (UFSJ) desde 2018. Desenvolve atividades de ensino, pesquisas e extensão nas áreas de teoria, história e projeto de Arquitetura e Urbanismo, da arte, do design e ações sociais, com ênfase em Projetos de Edificações, Projeto de Interiores e Projeto e Planejamento Urbanos. Develops teaching, research and extension activities in the areas of theory, history and architectural design and Urbanism, art, design and social actions, with emphasis on Building Projects, Interior Project and Urban Project and Planning. Since May 2022, she has also held the position of Deputy Dean of Extension and Culture for the 2020-2024 term.
