Luiz Otávio Correa é doutor em História pela Universidade Federal Fluminense(2020); Possui graduação em História (1999) e mestrado em Ciências Sociais(2002) pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais; possui pós-graduação em ?Comunicação Social: Criação e produção em Mídia Eletrônica? (UNI-BH). Tem experiência nas áreas de História e Comunicação, atuando em temas ligados ao rádio (Rádio Inconfidência) e aos movimentos culturais brasileiros (Clube da Esquina). Trabalhou em instituições de ensino superior (UFSJ, Pontifícia Universidade Católica, Faculdades Promove, UNA, UNIPAC). Atualmente é membro da Rede Brasileira de História Pública e coordena a página Paisagens Históricas, repositório de experiências chamadas de Audiografias, além de ser professor efetivo do ensino fundamental II (MG). Luiz Otávio holds a PhD in History from Universidade Federal Fluminense (2020). He also has a degree in History (Licenciatura and Bacharelado) (1999) by the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais. He holds a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the same institution (2002). He also has a postgraduate degree in Social Communication: Creation and production in Electronic Media by UNI-BH. He has experience in the areas of History and Communication, acting mainly in Cultural Studies (among the following themes: History of Radio in Minas Gerais, Clube da Esquina, MPB and Contemporary History, Information Society, Network Society, New Information and Communication Technologies Communication), in addition to oriental monographs and experimental projects in the Communication and History course, mainly those aimed at media and cultural studies. he worked at UFSJ and at several other higher education institutions, such as the Pontifical Catholic University, Faculdades Promove, UNA, among others. He has coordinated several projects in the area of culture and communication. Also guide several course completion projects in the area of Communication, History and Social Sciences. He is currently a member of the Brazilian Public History Network and is co-responsible for the Network's communication. He also coordinates the Historical Landscapes page, which has the intention of producing historical texts, through sound files, requested by Audiographies.
