João César Moura Mota
João Cesar M. Mota is currently a UFC full professor. He holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC, July 1978), a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio, September 1984) and a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering from the Federal University of Rio of January. State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, August 1992). He was Chief of both Departments: Teleinformatics Engineering and Electrical Engineering, and Deputy Director of Interinstitutional Relations of the Technology Center / UFC. Dr. Mota is currently The Director of Development and Innovation Integrated School of UFC. He was a visiting researcher at TELECOM Sud-Paris (Evry, Aug 1996- Jul 1998), IRCCyN Laboratory (currently LS2N Laboratory, Nantes, Jun-Jul 2006), Laboratory I3S / CNRS (Sophia-Antipolis, Sept 2008- Jul 2009) and Normandy Mechanics Laboratory ((Rouen, Nov 2018-Feb 2019), Laboratory CEDRIC/LAETITIA research team CNAM Paris (december 2019 and january 2020) , France. He is a founding member and advisor of the Brazilian Society of Telecommunications, a member of the Brazilian Society of Informatics in Health, former student supervisor of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) of UFC, he was a member of the IEEE societies: Signal Processing and Communications. Has experience of research in the area of Telecommunications Engineering, with emphasis on Signal Processing in Communications Systems, working mainly on the following topics: identification and equalization of mobile communication systems, and data surface reconstruction and optimization. Other areas of interest and performance: waveform optimization; multi-linear signal processing; physics, mathematics and scientific methodology for the training of engineers; system modeling; numerical methods and educometrics.
Possui graduação em Física pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (1978), mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (1984) e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1992). Atualmente é consultor da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior, consultor da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior, consultor da Fundação Cearense de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico, consultor - secretario de Educação Superior, sócio fundador do Instituto de Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento e Inovação, membro da Sociedade Brasileira de Informática Em Saúde, conselheiro do ramo estudantil na ufc - Institut Electrical And Electronics Engineers, outro (especifique) da Sociedade Brasileira de Telecomunicações, bolsista do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico e professor titular da Universidade Federal do Ceará. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica, com ênfase em Processamento de Sinais Em Sistemas de Comunicações, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: telecomunicações, blind equalization, tensor modeling, space-time processing e wireless communication.
