Bachelor's in Pharmacy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2012). Ph.D. in Biochemistry (2013-2019) at UFRGS and did his studies as a visiting student in the Laboratory of Physiology of Behavior (Dietrich Lab) at Yale University/USA (2013-2018). Currently, a Postdoctoral Fellow at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in the Department of Biochemistry. He has expertise in transgenic animals, behavioral animal in mice, more specifically in neonatal behavior, and neuroscience techniques. He is interested in understanding the underlying neonatal neural mechanisms involved in the development of the attachment of the infant to the mother.
Possui graduação em Farmácia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS (2012). Doutorado em Bioquímica pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciências Biológicas: Bioquímica pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2013-2019) com co-tutela no Laboratory of Physiology of Behavior na Yale University/EUA (2013-2018). Atualmente, Pós-Doutorando no Departamento de Bioquímica da UFRGS. Têm experiência em animais transgênicos, comportamento animal em camundongos, com enfoque em neonatos. Interessado na identificação dos mecanismos neurais envolvidos no desenvolvimento do apego do filhote à mãe.
