Wallace Rocha dos Santos

He holds a law degree from the University of Rio Grande (UNIGRANRIO / 1999), a bachelor's degree in History from the Gama Filho University (UGF / 2007), a Master's degree in Sociology and Law from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF / PPGSD 2008) and a PhD in Knowledge at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA / DMMDC 2016). Militant of social causes, he was one of the founders of the Afro Pastoral and of the Municipal League of Capoeira, as Legal Officer, both of the municipality of Duque de Caxias / RJ, as well as served as Municipal Councilor of Culture, responsible for the chair of Historical Heritage . He worked in the years 2010/11 as a consultant in the area of ​​Sociology and Research, together with the Brazilian Association of the Land of Men (ABTH) and as professor of History of the SESC Network (Timeline). He works as a history teacher at the Federal Institute of Bahia (IFBA / FSA), since 2014.

Possui graduação em Direito pela Universidade do Grande Rio (UNIGRANRIO/1999), licenciatura e bacharelado em História pela Universidade Gama Filho (UGF/2007), mestrado em Sociologia e Direito pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF/PPGSD 2008) e doutorado em Difusão do Conhecimento cursado na Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA/DMMDC 2016). Militante de causas sociais, foi um dos fundadores da Pastoral Afro e da Liga Municipal de Capoeira, na qualidade de Diretor Jurídico, ambos do município de Duque de Caxias/RJ, bem como funcionou como Conselheiro Municipal de Cultura, responsável pela cadeira de Patrimônio Histórico. Atuou nos anos de 2010/11 como consultor da área de Sociologia e pesquisa, junto a Associação Brasileira Terra dos Homens (ABTH) e como professor de História da Rede SESC (Linha do Tempo). Atua como docente em História no Instituto Federal da Bahia (IFBA/FSA), desde 2014.
