Erifranklin Nascimento Santos

Doctoral level in Agronomy by the Postgraduate Program in Agronomy at UFPB working with seed maturation, diversity and storage; Master in Agronomy/Irrigated Horticulture by the Postgraduate Program in Irrigated Horticulture (University of the State of Bahia -UNEB); Graduated in Agronomic Engineering/Agronomy at UNEB. He was a Professor at the state high school system and a collaborator at the Seeds Didactic Laboratory of the Department of Technology and Social Sciences-UNEB. He worked as a technical assistance and rural extension agent with farmers through NGOs and social movements, contributing to the construction of agroecology. He is currently working with the process of repairing the population affected by the collapse of the Brumadinho dam. He is interested in rural education, agroecology, living with the semiarid, populations affected by large projects and environmental conflicts.

Doutor em Agronomia pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Agronomia da UFPB trabalhando com maturação, diversidade e armazenamento de sementes; Mestre em Agronomia/Horticultura Irrigada pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Horticultura Irrigada (Universidade do Estado da Bahia -UNEB); Graduado em Engenharia Agronômica/Agronomia na UNEB. Foi Professor da rede estadual de ensino médio e colaborador no Laboratório Didático de Sementes do Departamento de Tecnologia e Ciências Sociais-UNEB. Atuou com agente de assistência técnica e extensão rural junto aos agricultores através de ONG's e movimentos sociais, contribuindo para a construção da agroecologia. Atualmente trabalha com o processo de reparação da população atingida pelo rompimento da barragem de Brumadinho. Possui interesse na área de educação do campo, agroecologia, convivência com o semiárido, populações atingidas por grandes empreendimentos e conflitos ambientais.
