Katiuchia Uzzun Sales

Katiuchia Uzzun Sales received her DDS and PhD in Oral Pathology from the University of Sao Paulo School of Dentistry in, 2003 and 2006 respectively. She then performed Postdoctoral training in Dr. Thomas Bugges Laboratory at the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research from 2006 to 2011. Dr. Sales was recruited as a Research Fellow in 2011 and as Clinical Research Fellow in 2012 at the same Institute. Dr. Sales is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Sao Paulo School of Medicine of Ribeirao Preto (Department of Cell and Molecular Biology).

graduation at Odontologia from Universidade de São Paulo (2003) and doctorate at Odontology from Universidade de São Paulo (2006). Has experience in Genetics, focusing on Animal Genetics, acting on the following subjects: carcinoma epidermóide, beta-catenina, ciclina d1, bucal and oral.
