Sílvia Regina Silva de Oliveira-Bento

Graduada em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade Estadual do Maranhão, Mestre em Fitotecnia pela Universidade de São Paulo/USP, Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz"- Piracicaba, Doutora em Fitotecnia pela Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido, Pós-Doutorado (incompleto) pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Participei da equipe técnica no projeto de Zoneamento Ecológico do Maranhão, juntamente ao Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) e a Universidade Estadual do Maranhão, através do Sensoriamento Remoto Orbital (uso do satélite LANDSAT 5), aplicado ao mapeamento de uso da terra. O estudo favoreceu o levantamento de dados em áreas extensas e inóspitas, além de identificar os principais tipos de solos, vegetações e águas em determinadas regiões do estado do Maranhão. Esses registros impulsionaram o inventário de recursos hídricos, identificação de áreas com processos erosivos avançados, avaliação de impactos ambientais servindo de base para a formulação de políticas econômicas. Fui assistente técnica na Empresa Maranhense de Pesquisa Agropecuária (EMAPA), conduzindo experimentos em campo, colaborando ativamente para o desenvolvimento de pesquisas com frutíferas na mesorregião Centro - Maranhense. Possuo experiência também em Fitotecnia e em Produção e Tecnologia de Sementes, implementando experimentos em campo e laboratório, auxiliando eventos técnicos-científicos e dando apoio em dias de campo. Participei em projetos científicos no Pós-Doutorado da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, resgatando espécies endêmicas e em extinção da Serra da Canastra (MG). Fui Consultora Técnica da empresa AGROSIX - Pesquisa, Produção e Comércio de Hortifruti LTDA. Elaborei e orientei projetos em diversas áreas para alunos do curso de Engenharia Agronômica, incluindo desde alunos iniciantes em graduação até formandos já inseridos em mercado de trabalho. Gerenciamento de equipes com diferentes níveis de formação e experiência profissional foi um diferencial que eu adquiri no Centro Universitário do Triângulo (UNITRI), onde integrei o corpo docente, tendo ministrado as disciplinas de Tecnologia e Produção de Sementes, Olericultura, Plantas Ornamentais e Paisagismo, Silvicultura e Tendências do Agronegócio, Cultura de Tecidos, Biotecnologia Vegetal, Colheita, Beneficiamento e Armazenamento de Produtos Hortícolas, Gestão Ambiental e Desenvolvimento, Experimentação Agrícola e Computacional, Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC I e TCC II) para o curso de Engenharia Agronômica e a disciplina de Plantas Medicinais para o curso de Pós-Graduação em Nutrição. Membro da Comissão Ética de Projetos Científicos da Plataforma Brasil (2019-2022). Atualmente, tenho cargo no Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento como Chefe de Divisão na Coordenação de Mudança do Clima e Agropecuária (CMCA), subordinada à Coordenação-Geral de Mudanças Climáticas (CGMC) e interligada ao Departamento de Produção Sustentável e Irrigação (DEPROS), o qual faz parte da Secretaria de Inovação, Desenvolvimento Sustentável e irrigação ? SDI, fazendo acompanhamento de várias reuniões, projetos técnicos e análise de documentos técnicos-científicos, com proposições que visam o desenvolvimento sustentável e estratégias combinadas de adaptação e mitigação às mudanças climáticas.

Graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the State University of Maranhão, Master in Phytotechnics from the University of São Paulo/USP, Superior School of Agriculture "Luiz de Queiroz"- Piracicaba, PhD in Phytotechnics from the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid, Post-Doctorate (incomplete ) by the Federal University of Uberlândia. I participated in the technical team in the Ecological Zoning project of Maranhão, together with the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) and the State University of Maranhão, through Orbital Remote Sensing (use of the LANDSAT 5 satellite), applied to land use mapping. The study favored the collection of data in extensive and inhospitable areas, in addition to identifying the main types of soil, vegetation and water in certain regions of the state of Maranhão. These records boosted the inventory of water resources, identification of areas with advanced erosion processes, assessment of environmental impacts serving as a basis for the formulation of economic policies. I was a technical assistant at the Empresa Maranhense de Pesquisa Agropecuária (EMAPA), conducting field experiments, actively collaborating for the development of research with fruit trees in the Centro - Maranhense mesoregion. I also have experience in Plant Science and Seed Production and Technology, implementing experiments in the field and laboratory, assisting technical-scientific events and providing support on field days. I participated in scientific projects in the Post-Doctorate at the Federal University of Uberlândia, rescuing endemic and endangered species from Serra da Canastra (MG). I was a Technical Consultant for the company AGROSIX - Pesquisa, Produção e Comércio de Hortifruti LTDA. I developed and guided projects in several areas for students of the Agronomic Engineering course, including from beginners in graduation to graduates already inserted in the job market. Managing teams with different levels of education and professional experience was a differential I acquired at the Centro Universitário do Triângulo (UNITRI), where I joined the faculty, having taught the disciplines of Technology and Seed Production, Olericulture, Ornamental Plants and Landscaping, Silviculture and Agribusiness Trends, Tissue Culture, Plant Biotechnology, Harvesting, Processing and Storage of Horticultural Products, Environmental Management and Development, Agricultural and Computational Experimentation, Completion of Course Work (TCC I and TCC II) for the Agronomic Engineering course and the discipline of Medicinal Plants for the Graduate course in Nutrition. Member of the Ethics Committee of Scientific Projects of Plataforma Brasil (2019-2022). I currently hold a position at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply as Head of Division in the Coordination of Climate Change and Agriculture (CMCA), subordinate to the General Coordination of Climate Change (CGMC) and linked to the Department of Sustainable Production and Irrigation (DEPROS ), which is part of the Secretariat for Innovation, Sustainable Development and Irrigation ? SDI, monitoring various meetings, technical projects and analysis of technical-scientific documents, with propositions aimed at sustainable development and combined strategies for adapting and mitigating changes weather.
