Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King's College London. Interested in the molecular basis of behaviour, complex psychiatric traits and heritable diseases, more specifically in functionally characterising genes and the genetic elements called 'human endogenous retroviruses' associated with these conditions by genome-wide association studies. Undergone intensive training in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, cell culture and microscopy. Regularly engaged in courses, voluntary teaching and international conferences. Well organised project leader with great time management and interpersonal communication skills. Passionate for team work. Active role in public engagement activities and in outreaching new projects.
