Ricardo Pimenta Bertolla

Possui graduação em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade de São Paulo (2001), doutorado em Medicina (Urologia) pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2006) e Livre-docência em Reprodução Humana pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Atualmente, é Pró-reitor Adjunto de Pós-graduação e Pesquisa da Unifesp. Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em Infertilidade Masculina, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: varicocele, sperm, fragmentação de dna, atividade mitocondrial e espermatozóide.

Received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Sao Paulo (2001) and his PhD degree from the Urology graduate program at the Sao Paulo Federal University (2006). Received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Insper - IBMEC/SP in 2011. Currently works at the Sao Paulo Hospital and is a Professor of Urology and graduate advisor at the Urology graduate program at the Sao Paulo Federal University, where he develops his research lines and is Head of the Urological Research Center. Is experienced in Medicine, with an emphasis in Male Infertility, with main research goals in Varicocele, Oxidative Stress, Sperm DNA Fragmentation, and Proteomic Analasis.
