Rafael Junqueira Buralli

Doutor em Mestre Saúde Pública pela Faculdade de Saúde Pública da Universidade de São Paulo (FSP/USP), com doutorado-sanduíche na Universidade da Califórnia, Berkeley e na Escola de Saúde Pública da Universidade do Chile. Atualmente, é pesquisador pós-doutorando em epidemiologia ambiental e bolsista FAPESP na Faculdade de Medicina da USP. Foi Consultor Técnico da Organização Panamericana de Saúde (OPS) na Coordenação-Geral de Vigilância em Saúde do Trabalhador, do Ministério da Saúde (CGSAT/SVS/MS), atuando em temas variados da vigilância em saúde, saúde ambiental, saúde do trabalhador e emergências em saúde pública. Graduado em Fisioterapia com experiência em reabilitação ortopédica e docência no ensino superior. Foi professor-substituto na Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES) e Universidade de Brasília (UnB). Faz parte do Comitê Executivo do Capítulo Latinoamericano e do Caribe da International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE-LAC) e do projeto Little Things Matter (LTM), para comunicação científica. É revisor de periódicos científicos internacionais e colaborador em diversos projetos de pesquisa. PhD and Master in Public Health from the School of Public Health of the University of São Paulo (FSP/USP). Visiting student (doutorado sanduiche) at the University of California, Berkeley, and at the School of Public Health of the University of Chile. Currently, he is a pos-doctoral researcher supported by FAPESP at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP). He was Technical Consultant for the Panamerican Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) at the General Coordination of Occupational Health of the Brazilian Ministry of Health (CGSAT/SVS/MS), working on diverse themes related to health surveillance, environmental and occupational health, and public health emergencies. He is Bachelor in Physical Therapy with practical experience in rehabilitation and as professor. He was substitute-professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), and University of Brasília (UnB). He is part of the Executive Board of the Latinamerican and the Caribbean Chapter of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE-LAC), and Little Things Matter team (LTM), for scientific communication. Reviewer for scientific journals, collaborator in diverse research projects.
