Adílio Moreira de Moraes

Graduated in physics from the Universidade Federal de Goiás (1998), MSc in Physic from the Universidade Federal de Goiás (2000) and PhD in Experimental Particle Physics from the University of Sheffield (2004). Research positions held: Research Associate at the University of Glasgow (2004-2005); Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory (2005-2007), Postdoctoral Research Fellow at TRIUMF (2007) and Advanced Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow. Currently holds a permanent staff position as an Adjunct Researcher at the Brazilian Centre for Physics Research - CBPF, working as a collaborator to the CMS experiment at CERN's LHC and also as a member of the SWGO collaboration.

Possui graduação em Física pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (1998), mestrado em Física pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (2000) e doutorado em Experimental Particle Physics - University of Sheffield (2004). Atuou como pesquisador associado na University of Glasgow - Glasgow, Reino Unido (2004-2005); no Brookhaven National Laboratory - Upton, NY, EUA (2005-2007); pesquisador associado no Laboratório Canadense para Física de Partículas - TRIUMF, Vancouver, BC, Canadá (2007) e pesquisador avançado na University of Glasgow (STFC Advanced Research Fellow) entre 2007 e 2012. Atualmente é pesquisador associado no Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas - CBPF, e trabalha como colaborador dos experimentos CMS/LHC/CERN e SWGO.
