Chemical Engineer from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Master in Chemical Engineering, pHD in Energy Planning from COPPE-UFRJ and is a Safety Engineer from Universidade Paulista. Actually, I work as Environment and Licensing Manager at TotalEnergies. I have worked as Executive Manager of Environment, Health, Safety (HSE) and Operations at the Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas (IBP) for 2 years. Previously, I worked at bp energy do Brasil for 17 years as HSE and Regulatory Compliance Manager and also at Petrobras, IBAMA and the consulting firm Arthur D. Little. I worked for 11 years as a professor at the Fluminense Federal University and since 1998 he has been teaching at the MBE at COPPE/UFRJ. I served for 9 years as environment, health and safety coordinator at the Brazilian Petroleum Institute (IBP). I have academic work and extensive practical experience in the area of ​​Environmental and Safety Management, working mainly on the following topics: Environmental Licensing, Regulatory Analysis, Energy Transition, Circular Economy, Behavioral Safety and Safety Culture, Pollution Control, HSE Performance and Management.

Engenheiro Químico pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Mestrado em Engenharia Química e Doutorado em Planejamento Energético pela COPPE-UFRJ e é Engenheiro de Segurança pela Universidade Paulista. É Gerente de Meio Ambiente e Licenciamento da TotalEnergies. Trabalhou como Gerente Executivo de Meio Ambiente, Saúde, Segurança (SMS) e Operações do Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo e Gás (IBP) por 2 anos. Anteriormente trabalhou na bp energy do Brasil por 17 anos como Gerente de SMS e Conformidade Regulatória e também na Petrobras, no IBAMA e na empresa de consultoria Arthur D. Little. Atuou 11 anos como professor da Universidade Federal Fluminense e desde1998 ministra aulas no MBE da COPPE/UFRJ. Atuou por 9 anos como coordenador de meio ambiente, saúde e segurança do Instituto Brasileiro de Petróleo (IBP). Possui trabalhos acadêmicos extensa experiência prática na área de Gestão Ambiental e de Segurança, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Licenciamento Ambiental, Análise Regulatória, Transição Energética, Economia Circular, Segurança Comportamental e Cultura de Segurança, Controle da Poluição, Desempenho e Gestão em SMS.
