Jose Luis Bento Coelho

Atualmente é Professor de Acústica do Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) e coordenador do Grupo de Acústica e Controlo de Ruído do IST, da Universidade de Lisboa. É Diretor e Ex Presidente e Ex Vice-Presidente do International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV). É Membro de Paineis de especialistas em Ruído Ambiente da Comissão Europeia e da Agência Europeia do Ambiente (EEA). Tem experiência em Engenharia Acústica com ênfase em Acústica do Meio Ambiente, Ruido Urbano e Acústica das Edificações.

He is Professor of Acoustics at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and the Head of the Group of Acoustics and Noise Control of IST, University of Lisbon. He his Director, Past President and Past Vice-President of the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV). He is a Member of Expert Panels on Noise of the European Commission and the European Environmental Agency (EEA). He has experience in Acoustic Engineering especially in Environmental Acoustics, Urban Noise, and Building Acoustics.
