Vilmar Pedro Votre

Graduated at Electronic Engineer from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1974), master's at Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1980) and ph.d. at Electric Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (1993). Has experience in Computer Science, focusing on Software Engeneering, acting on the following subjects: Petri nets, workflow, C++ ansi-iso, STL for C++ and Concurrent Programming under C++. Has also good profile in technical writing. Is the author of a book in C++, at work for the third edition, for C++11, to be edited by Alta Books, RJ. Vilmar is the creator of a tool for high school timetables scheduling teachers, physical resources and students with low level of guidance by the timetable maker.Vilmar was dean for Faculty of Computation and Information (FCI) for Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, at São Paulo, Brazil, for seven years, from 2001 to 2007.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Eletrônica pelo Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1974), mestrado em Engenharia de Sistemas e Computação pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1980) e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade de São Paulo (1993). Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação, com ênfase em Engenharia de Software, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: workflow, redes de petri, ensino de ciência da computação, lagrange multipliers e diretrizes curriculares.
