Bruna Laís Longo

Bachelor in Forestry (2012) and Master in Forestry at Santa Catarina State University (2014). PhD candidate in the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Freiburg, in a partnership with the Forest Research Institute of Baden-Württemberg (FVA-BW). Currently works as a Research Officer at Teagasc, the Agriculture and Food Development Authority in Ireland. Projects of interest include, but are not limited to, wood features modeling, technological innovation of wood based products, and forest resources evaluation and optimization in the context of climate change.

Engenheira Florestal (2012) e Mestre em Engenharia Florestal (FUMDES-2014) pela Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC). Doutoranda (CAPES/DAAD) do Departamento de Meio Ambiente e Recursos Naturais na Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (UNI-FREIBURG), em parceria com o Instituto de Pesquisa Florestal de Baden-Württemberg (FVA-BW). Atualmente trabalha como pesquisadora na Unidade de Desenvolvimento Florestal do Teagasc, a Autoridade de Desenvolvimento Agricola e Alimentar da Irlanda. Atua em projetos relacionados à modelagem de características da madeira, inovação tecnológica de produtos de base florestal, avaliação e otimização de recursos florestais frente às mudanças climáticas.
