Dirceni de Souza Costa Amorim

Researcher at Aperam South America, working in the research and development of electrical steel. Bachelor in Materials Engineering by University Center of East of Minas Gerais (UNILESTMG), Master degree in Metallurgical Engineering by Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Knows the relationship between processing and properties of electrical steels, grain oriented (GO) and non oriented grain (NGO). Extensive experience in optical microscopy with image analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (including phase analysis, macro texture and residual stress). It has carried out works with Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). Experience in microtexture analysis by EBSD (Electron Backscatter diffraction).
