Wesley Corrêa

I have completed my undergraduate course and my Master's Degree in History at the Federal University of São Paulo (2011 and 2014), and my PhD at the University of Oxford, with scholarship granted by CAPES Foundation of the Ministry of Education (2015-2019). I have experience with teaching History (Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo and Colégio ENIAC, 2014-2015) and with research, focusing on Late-Medieval and Early-Modern History of Europe and England, specially working with Late-Medieval England, social conditions and representations, public opinion, seditious language and rebellions during the Lancaster/York (1399-1485) and Tudor (1485-1603) periods. At Oxford, I was part of the Early-Modern Britain Seminar Series, and during my PhD I co-taught, tutored and gave lectures to undergraduate students between 2017 and 2019 - which recently resulted in my certification to teach at graduate level in the United Kingom.

Possui graduação e mestrado em história pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2011 e 2014) e doutorado pela Universidade de Oxford, no Reino Unido com bolsa da CAPES (2015-2019). Tem experiência na área de ensino de história em nível básico (EDUCAFRO, Secretaria da Educação do Estado de São Paulo e Colégio ENIAC, 2009-2015) e em nível superior (Oxford, 2017-18; Stanford, 2019). Além disso, realizou pesquisa em história desde a graduação, com ênfase em História Medieval e Moderna da Europa e Inglaterra, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Inglaterra tardo-medieval, condições sociais e representações, opinião pública, linguagens subversivas e revoltas, especificamente no período das dinastias Lancaster/York (1399-1485) e Tudor (1485-1603). Em Oxford, contribuiu com o seminário de História Moderna Britânica e atuou como co-professor, tutor e palestrante do curso de graduação em história entre 2017 e 2019 - tendo recebido certificado para atuação no Ensino Superior Britânico.
