Gabriela Previdello Ferreira Orth

Gabriela Previdello Is currently a PhD student in Information Science, at the Graduate Program in Information Science at the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA - USP). Develops research on the themes: Culture and Information, Knowledge Organization, Digital Curation, Artificial Intelligence applied to information environments, Digital Preservation and Digital Art Documentation.She has a degree in Fine Arts from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP, 1992), and began her career in Art Direction working at MTV (1995 -1996), and film production offices (1999 to 2005). She curated exhibitions such as Elos ePerfurações (1997) and Viva Vallauri (1998) at MIS ? Museu da Imagem e do Som de São Paulo and several editions of FILE ? Festival Internacional de Arte Eletrônica (2005 to 2010), where she was also archive coordinator.

Graduate in Fine Arts at FAAP - Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, São Paulo (1997). At present is Archive Data Manager of FILE-Eletronic Language International Festival. Works and researches Museology, with emphasis in conservation, preservation and exhibition of Art in New Medias.
