Sergio Vitor de Barros Bruno
Specializes in decision making under uncertainty, mainly developing analytics solutions for investment planning, portfolio management and supply chain management applied to the Energy, Natural Gas and Oil business. He was promoted to internal Consultant in 2010 and in 2015 to Coordinator of Systemic Risk Assessment and Reporting. He is currently Coordinator in the Quantitative Risk Analysis group. He has a BSc degree in Electrical and Industrial Engineering, both at Pontifical Catholic University (PUC-Rio), Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. In 2008, he was granted his master's degree in Mathematics with emphasis in Mathematical Methods in Finance by Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (IMPA). ln 2016 he became a Doctor in Electrical Engineering at PUC-Rio, advised by professor Alexandre Street. During this period, he was a visiting research student from August 2013 to January 2014 in the Industrial and Systems Engineering department of Georgia Institute of Technology (GeorgiaTech), working with professors S. Ahmed and A. Shapiro.
Tem experiência na área de Apoio à Decisão, com ênfase em Decisão sob Incerteza, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Otimização de Portfólio sob Risco, Planejamento Operacional do Downstream na indústria de petróleo e energia, planejamento e otimização de cadeia de suprimentos, Risk Analytics.
