Cândida Hermínia Campos de Magalhães Bertini

Graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (1996), Master's in Agronomy (Phytotechnics) from the Federal University of Ceará (1999) in the area of Plant Breeding and PhD in Phytotechnics (Plant Production) from the Federal University of Viçosa (2004) in the area of Plant Breeding and Biotechnology. She is currently Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Ceará, coordinator and curator of the UFC's active cowpea germplasm bank. She has experience in the field of Agronomy, with an emphasis on Plant Breeding, working mainly on the following themes: Genetic improvement of cowpea; Biotechnology, with greater emphasis on the use of molecular markers applied in analyzes of plant genetic resources and improvement of annual crops.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (1996), mestrado em Agronomia (Fitotecnia) pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (1999) na área de Melhoramento Vegetal e, doutorado em Fitotecnia (Produção Vegetal) pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2004) na área de Melhoramento Vegetal e Biotecnologia. Atualmente é professora Associada IV da Universidade Federal do Ceará, coordenadora e curadora do Banco Ativo de Germoplasma de feijão-caupi da UFC. Tem experiência na área de Agronomia, com ênfase em Melhoramento Vegetal, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Melhoramento genético de feijão-caupi; Biotecnologia, com ênfase maior no uso de marcadores moleculares aplicados em análises de recursos genéticos vegetais e melhoramento de culturas anuais.
