Mathilde Julienne Gisèle Champeau
Assistant Professor at the Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC), in the Center of Engineering, Modelling, and Applied Social Sciences. Member of the graduation programs on Materials Sciences & Engineering (PPG-CEM) and Nanosciences and Advanced Materials (PPGNMA). Member of the Embrapii Unit at UFABC: Grupo de Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação em Materiais Funcionais (CTIM).
Vice-coordinator of the Industrial-Academic Doctoral and Master programs at UFABC.
MSc in Materials Engineering (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques ENSIACET, Toulouse, France, 2010); Ph.D. in Polymer Sciences (co-tutelle between the University of Bordeaux, France and the University of Liège, Belgium, 2014); post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Chemistry at the University of Campinas (2016)
Her main research area concerns the modification of polymers using supercritical carbon dioxide, mainly on impregnation, to develop bioactive-releasing systems for health, cosmetic, and agriculture applications. She also works in 3D/4D printing of functional gels/hydrogels, focusing on developing new inks and optimizing the printing parameters to obtain high-quality structures that can change their function upon application of a stimulus for scaffold development, soft robots...
