Dahyana Santos Britto

Graduated in Biological Sciences - Degree from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (2002), Masters in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (2005) and Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (2012). Currently, researcher and responsible by laboratories (Molecular Biology, Tissue Culture, Chemistry, Microbiology and Cacao Processing) at the Mars Center for Cocoa Science (Barro Preto - BA). Has experience in the field of genetics, with emphasis on Genomics and Gene Expression, acting on the following topics: functional studies of genes from Theobroma cacao L. and proteomic analysis and expression of genes of Eucalyptus.

bachelor's at Ciências Biológicas - Licenciatura from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (2002), master's at Genetics from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (2005) and doctorate at Genética e Biologia Molecular from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (2012). Has experience in Genetics, acting on the following subjects: crinipellis perniciosa, oxidative stress, estudos funcionais de genes, eucalyptus and theobroma cacao.
