Juliana Marques Ferreira

Biotechnologist graduated from Institute of Tropical Pathology and Public Health, Federal University of Goiás (UFG). Master's degree from the graduate program in Biology of the host-parasite relationship, concentration area in Parasitology, from UFG. PhD student in the graduate program in Biology of the host-parasite relationship at UFG. PhD-sandwich in South Korea, at Jeonbuk National University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jae Su Kim, from 2022 to 2023. Previously experience with biological control using entomopathogenic fungi and nematophagous fungi. Currently, her mainly line of research has involved: biological control, entomopathogenic fungi, arthropods of one health interest, abiotic cellular stress factors, molecular biology, enzymology and biotechnology.

Biotecnologista formada pelo Instituto de Patologia Tropical e Saúde Pública da Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG). Mestre pelo Programa de pós-graduação em Biologia da relação parasito-hospedeiro, área de concentração em Parasitologia, pela UFG. Doutoranda pelo Programa de pós-graduação em Biologia da relação parasito-hospedeiropelo- UFG. Doutorado-sanduíche na Coreia do Sul, na Jeonbuk National University sob a orientação do prof. Dr. Jae Su Kim, no período de 2022 a 2023, pelo programa PDSE - Programa de Doutorado Sanduíche no Exterior - fomentado pela CAPES. Tem experiência com o controle microbiano, utilizando fungos entomopatogênicos e fungos nematófagos. Atualmente, sua linha de pesquisa tem envolvido: controle biológico, fungos entomopatogênicos, artrópodes de interesse agropecuário e médico, fatores abióticos de estresse celular, biologia molecular, enzimologia e biotecnologia.
