Flaviano José dos Santos

BS in Physics from the Federal University of Alagoas, where I developed research on Artificial Neural Networks in the Group of Theoretical and Computational Physics. Currently, Master's Degree student in physics at the Universidade Federal Fluminense with a scholarship from CNPq. I had conducted research in Nano-structured Systems, especially those base on graphene, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Roberto Bechara Muniz.Currently is a PhD student at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany, studying Dynamical spin-excitations in magnetic thin films and surfaces with first principle methods based on density functional theory, under the supervision of Dr. Samir Lounis.

Bacharel em Física pela Universidade Federal de Alagoas, onde desenvolveu pesquisas em Redes Neurais Artificiais no Grupo de Física Teórica e Computacional. Mestre em Física pela Universidade Federal Fluminense com bolsa do CNPq, tendo desenvolvido pesquisas em Sistemas Nanoestruturados, especialmente os a base de grafeno, sob a orientação do pesquisador Prof. Dr. Roberto Bechara Muniz. Atualmente é estudante de PhD no Forschungszentrum Jülich, Alemanha, estudando excitações de spin dinâmicas em superfícies e filmes finos magnéticos através de métodos de primeiros princípios baseados na teoria do funcional da densidade, orientado pelo Dr. Samir Lounis.
