Juan Carlos Ramos Gonçalves

Doutor em Farmacologia (2011) pelo Programa de Pós Graduação em Produtos Naturais e Sintéticos Bioativos (PgPNSB, conceito CAPES 6) da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), com Estágio Doutoral (CNPq-SWE) na University of Western Ontario (UWO-Canada) em 2010. Farmacêutico-Bioquímico (2006) e Mestre em Farmacologia (2008) pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB). Atualmente exerce o cargo de Professor Adjunto do Departamento de Ciências Farmacêuticas (CCS/UFPB) e membro do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Produtos Naturais e Sintéticos Bioativos. Atua como pesquisador do Laboratório de Oncofarmacologia da UFPB (ONCOFAR), coordenando o grupo de pesquisa em Farmacologia Celular e Molecular, desenvolvendo projetos nas linhas de Farmacologia de Produtos Naturais e Biotecnologia Aplicada à Produção de Fármacos Antitumorais. Desenvolve atividades de Extensão em Educação em Saúde Saúde da Mulher no CCS/UFPB. Membro associado da World Academy of Sciences e revisor de periódicos internacionais como Current Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Journal of Ethnopharmacology, Journal of Applied Biomedicine, etc. Tem experiência nas áreas: Farmacologia, Biotecnologia, Biologia Celular e Molecular.

PhD in Pharmacology (2011) by the Postgraduate Program in Natural and Synthetic Bioactive Products (PgPNSB, CAPES 6 concept) at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), with a Doctoral Internship (CNPq-SWE) at the University of Western Ontario (UWO-Canada ) in 2010. Pharmacist-Biochemist (2006) and Master in Pharmacology (2008) from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). Currently holds the position of Adjunct Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CCS/UFPB) and member of the Postgraduate Program in Natural and Synthetic Bioactive Products. He works as a researcher at the UFPB Oncopharmacology Laboratory (ONCOFAR), coordinating the research group on Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology, developing projects in the lines of Pharmacology of Natural Products and Biotechnology Applied to the Production of Antitumor Drugs. Develops Extension activities in Health Education in Women's Health at CCS/UFPB. Associate member of the World Academy of Sciences and reviewer of international journals such as Current Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Journal of Ethnopharmacology, Journal of Applied Biomedicine, etc. Has experience in the areas: Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Cellular and Molecular Biology.
