Eliana de Souza Rushforth

Eliana holds a BSc in Geography (2007) from the Federal University of Viçosa - UFV, Brazil. She has a MSc (2009) and PhD (2013) in Soil and Plant Nutrition, both from UFV, Brazil. In 2012 she conducted part of her PhD as a Guest Researcher at ISRIC World Soil Information, Wageningen University, Netherlands. In August 2013 she returned to ISRIC as a Post-doctoral Researcher remaining until March of 2015. From April to September of 2015 she re-joined UFV, where she carried out further research in Digital soil mapping. She received a grant through the Brazilian Program Science without Borders to carry out work on forestry degradation and monitoring at the Joint Research Center, ISPRA, Italy, from October to 2015 to September 2016. She worked as a postdoc researcher in soil mapping at the soil department of Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil from December 2016 to November 2019.
