Jose Aldo Do Carmo Junior
I have a degree in Geology from USP-SP/ 1990 and I worked at Companhia Vale do Rio Doce for more than 12 years, being five in the operational area - iron mine geology, and seven in the commercial department of the logistics vice-presidency, responsible for Analysis, Planning and Management of Business Marketing, with the coordination of multifunctional groups.
During these years I have taken three postgraduate courses: Business Management (FDC/ 1992), Logistics (Poli-USP/ 2000) and Marketing (FDC/ 2001), in addition to three short courses: International Business Strategy (London School of Economics - LSE / 1997), Sustainable Development and Strategy (both at the Copanhagen Business School/ 2007).
In 2010 I obtained my Master's degree in Management of Cultural Organizations at the Università degli Studi in Bologna (Italy), in the Graduate program on Innovation and Organization of Culture and the Arts (GIOCA). In the same year I started my PhD in Cultural Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), in Cultural Economics.
In 2020 I completed my PhD (PhD) in Economics of Culture at Erasmus University Rotterdam/EUR (Netherlands), at the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication, with the thesis: "Cultural Valorisation ? A comprehensive and pondered perspective for the evaluation of small museums". Mentored by Dr. Arjo Klamer and Co-supervisor Dr Luca Zan.
I am currently a professor at the University of Amsterdam/ UvA, Amsterdam Business School/ ABS in the subjects Managing Creativity, Corporate Venturing, Cultural Industries and Project Companies, in addition to being a supervisor of distractions for bachelor's and master's degrees.
Sou graduado em Geologia pela USP-SP/ 1990 e trabalhei na Companhia Vale do Rio Doce por mais de 12 anos, sendo cinco em área operacional - geologia de mina de ferro, e sete na diretoria comercial da vice-presidência de logística, responsável por Análise, Planejamento e Gestão de Marketing Empresarial, com a coordenação de grupos de multifuncionais.
Nestes anos fiz três pós-graduações: Gestão Empresarial (FDC/ 1992), Logística (Poli-USP/ 2000) e Marketing (FDC/ 2001), além de três cursos de curta duração: International Business Strategy (London School of Economics - LSE/ 1997), Sustainable Development e Strategy (ambos na Copanhagen Business School/ 2007).
Em 2010 obtive meu título de Mestre em Gestão de Organizações Culturais na Università degli Studi do Bologna (Itália), no programa Graduate on Innovation and Organization of Culture and the Arts (GIOCA). No mesmo ano iniciei meu doutorado em Cultural Economics na Erasmus University Rotterdam (Holanda), em Economia da Cultura.
Em 2020 concluí meu Doutoramento (PhD) em Economia da Cultura na Erasmus University Rotterdam/ EUR (Países Baixos), na Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication, com a tese: "Cultural Valorisation ?
