José Maurício Gonçalves dos Santos

He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the State University of Londrina - UEL in 1996, a Masters degree in the area of ​​Pathophysiology of Reproduction in Swine with the PPG in Veterinary Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS in 1999, PhD in Animal Production with PPG in Zoology of the State University of Maringá - UEM in 2002 and postdoctoral fellow in the area of ​​upper respiratory tract microbiota at the Center de Reserca en Sanitat Animal - CReSA, linked to the Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries (Barcelona, ​​Spain) in 2017. He is currently a full professor in the Veterinary Medicine course at the University Center of Maringá - Unicesumar and member of the Area Advisory Committee for the Inep Veterinary Medicine course. He has experience in Veterinary Medicine, with emphasis on Animal Production, working mainly in the following subjects: swine breeding, swine pathology, nutrition and reproduction.

Possui graduação em Medicina Veterinária pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina - UEL em 1996, mestrado na área de Fisiopatologia da Reprodução em Suínos junto ao PPG em Ciências Veterinárias da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS em 1999, doutorado em Produção Animal junto ao PPG em Zootecnia da Universidade Estadual de Maringá - UEM em 2002 e estágio sênior (pós-doutorado) na área de microbiota de trato respiratório superior de leitões junto ao Centre de Reserca en Sanitat Animal - CReSA, vinculado ao Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries (Barcelona, Espanha) em 2017. Atualmente é professor titular no curso de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Cesumar - Unicesumar e membro da Comissão Assessora de Área para o curso de Medicina Veterinária do Inep. Tem experiência na área de Medicina Veterinária, com ênfase em Produção Animal, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: suinocultura, patologia suína, nutrição e reprodução.
