Físico formado pelo Instituto Federal do Pará (2014), mestre em Física pela Universidade Federal de Alagoas (2016), doutor (2020) e pós-doutor (2020-2022) em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Pará. Atualmente é professor efetivo do Instituto Federal de Roraima, IFRR e membro da Sociedade Brasileira de Micro-ondas e Optoeletrônica, SBMO. Tem experiência no ensino de física, experimentação e teoria. Trabalha também na interface entre a física e ciências da vida (Biofotônica), com ênfase em terapias fotônicas aplicada às áreas de saúde, cristais e física biológica. Ultimamente desenvolve pesquisa na área de Engenharia Elétrica, com ênfase em teoria eletromagnética, micro-ondas e propagação de ondas em metamateriais hiperbólicos com estruturas de grafeno, grafeno magnetizado e fósforo preto em multicamadas na faixa terahertz e infravermelho, com aplicações em dispositivos ópticos-eletrônicos.
He holds a degree in Physics from the Federal Institute of Pará (2014), a Master's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Alagoas (2016), a PhD (2020) and a postdoctoral degree (2020-2022) in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará. He is a member of the Brazilian Microwave and Optoelectronics Society, SBMO. He has experience in teaching physics, experimentation and theory. He also works at the interface between physics and life sciences (Biophotonics), with an emphasis on photonic therapies applied to the areas of health, crystals and biological physics. Lately, he develops research in the area of Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on electromagnetic theory, microwaves and wave propagation in hyperbolic metamaterials with graphene structures, magnetized graphene and multilayer black phosphorus in the terahertz and infrared range, with applications in optical-electronic devices.
