Roberto da Piedade Francisco

Professor do curso de Engenharia de Produção e dos programas de Mestrado Profissional em Engenharia de Produção (PPGEP) e de Administração Pública (PROFIAP) na Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG). Doutor em Engenharia de Produção pela Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP) e Pós-Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), Mestre em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) e Engenheiro Mecânico pela Universidade de Coimbra (FCTUC). É Diretor Executivo do INESC P&D Brasil, do qual a UFG é associada, e pesquisador colaborador do INESC TEC, de Portugal, onde atuou como bolsista em projetos financiados pela Comissão Europeia, ambas Instituições de Ciência e Tecnologia. É Coordenador Executivo do Laboratório de Aplicação e Desenvolvimento de Soluções Tecnológicas (LabTec) da FCT-UFG e Coordenador Técnico do IPELab/UFG - unidade Câmpus Aparecida de Goiânia, e participante no Grupo de Pesquisa CNPq Sistemas de Produção e Logística - SPL. É Consultor Ad-hoc da FAP/DF. No âmbito universitário também atuou como professor assistente convidado na Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, na PUC-GO, na FacUnicamps e na UNIALFA. Larga experiência em Engenharia de Produção onde atuou em empresas industriais como engenheiro e consultor nas áreas de Produção, Logística e Qualidade.

Extensive experience in Production Engineering where have worked in industrial companies as an engineer and consultant in the areas of Production, Logistics and Quality.
