Vitor Fonseca Vieira Vasconcelos de Miranda
Graduated in Math and Earth Sciences - Specialization in Remote Sensing and Geoprocessing (2017) and Master in Meteorology (2020), both from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Since 2014, works with Remote Sensing, where has major interests in land-atmosphere interactions with emphasis to: Land Surface Models (LSMs), focusing in Essential Climate Variables (e. g. Land Surface Temperature, Evaporation From Land, Surface Radiation Budget), environmental changes in natural surfaces (e. g. Urban Heat Island, Urbanization and Deforestation) and extreme events (e.g. Droughts and Heat waves). Currently is a Remote Sensing PhD student at Universitat de Valencia, working at the Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) in the framework of LandSAF program.
Has experience in Geosciences, focusing on Remote Sensing of the Atmosphere
