Cynthia Regina Fischer

Cynthia Regina Fischer é Doutora e Mestre em Línguística Aplicada e Estudos da Linguagem pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo - PUC-SP. Bacharel e Licenciada em Língua e Literatura Inglesas, com habilitação para magistério e tradução pela PUCSP. Atualmente é Professora Titular do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo - IFSP (antigo CEFET-SP) e desenvolve Projeto Institucional junto à Reitoria. Foi Pró-Reitora de Ensino no período de 2013-2014 do IFSP. Foi Diretora Geral dos Câmpus Itapecerica da Serra (2015) e Câmpus São Paulo-Pirituba (2015-2018), cuja principal responsabilidade era estruturar o novo campus e gerenciar sua implantação. Foi Assessora de Relações Internacionais da Reitoria da instituição em que atuou na implantação e desenvolvimento da Assessoria para promover a internacionalização do IFSP através da busca por parcerias com Instituições de Ensino Superior, focando em ações de pesquisa, ensino, extensão, inovação e mobilidade da comunidade acadêmica de agosto de 2015 a abril de 2021. Em 2020, como Assessora Técnica em Educação junto à Pró-Reitoria de Ensino, participou da construção do Currículo de Referência da disciplina de Língua Inglesa do IFSP. Foi pesquisadora do grupo de pesquisa GEALIN - PUC/SP desde sua criação até 2014. Foi coordenadora do Curso de Graduação em Secretariado Executivo Trilíngue da Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado - Centro Universitário FECAP de jan/2001 até dez/2010. Tem experiência na área de Ensino de Línguas, com ênfase em Línguas Estrangeiras Modernas - Inglês, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Inglês para Fins Específicos, Ensino de Línguas (language teaching), Leitura (reading), Educação a Distância - EAD (Distance Learning), Formação de Professores. Atua ainda na área de Metodologia Científica. Além disso, desenvolve pesquisa e capacitação na área de Formação de Professores e inserção de Novas Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação na prática pedagógica.

Professor Cynthia Regina Fischer holds a PhD and Master in Applied Linguistics and Language Studies from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo - PUC-SP. Bachelor and Degree in English Language and Literature, with qualifications for teaching and translation by PUCSP. She is currently a Full Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo-IFSP (formerly CEFET-SP) and develops an Institutional Project for the Rectory. She was Pro-Rector of Education from 2013-2014 at the IFSP. She was General Director/Dean of Campus Itapecerica da Serra (2015) and Campus São Paulo-Pirituba (2015-2018), whose main responsibility was to structure the new campus and manage its implementation. She was The International Relations Advisor to the Rectory of the institution where she worked in the implementation and development of the Advisory to promote the internationalization of the IFSP through the search for partnerships with Higher Education Institutions, focusing on research, education, extension/community engagement, innovation and mobility actions of the academic community from August 2015 to April 2021. In 2020, as Technical Advisor in Education at the Pro-Rectory of Education, she participated in the construction of the Reference Curriculum for the English Language Courses at IFSP. She was a researcher at the research group GEALIN-PUC / SP since its creation until 2014. She was coordinator of the Undergraduate Course in Trilingual Executive Secretariat at Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado-Centro Universitário FECAP from Jan/2001 to Dec/2010. She has experience in the area of Language Teaching, with an emphasis on Modern Foreign Languages - English, working mainly on the following subjects: English for Specific Purposes, Language Teaching, Reading, Distance Learning - EAD (Distance Education), Teacher training. She also works in the area of Scientific Methodology. In addition, she develops research and training in the area of Teacher Education and insertion of New Information and Communication Technologies in pedagogical practice.
