Dr. Cesar Celis (PUCP, Peru) has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (UNI, Peru, 2002), Master's in Mechanical Engineering (PUC-Rio, Brazil, 2006) and Ph.D in Propulsion Systems (Cranfield University, United Kingdom, 2010). He currently works as an Associate Professor in the PUCP's Mechanical Engineering Section. His main fields of research include complex flows, turbulent combustion, parallel computing, and thermal systems. Dr. Celis has published numerous papers in the fields of applied aerodynamics, turbulent combustion, and thermal systems in various scientific journals and international conferences. He hopes that his contributions can eventually help to reduce the impact of this type of machines/processes on both health and environment.
Dr. Cesar Celis possui graduação em Engenharia Mecânica (UNI, Peru, 2002), mestrado em Engenharia Mecânica (PUC-Rio, Brasil, 2006) e doutorado em Sistemas de Propulsão (Cranfield University, UK, 2010). Actualmente trabalha como Professor Associado na Secção de Engenharia Mecânica da PUCP. Suas principais áreas de pesquisa incluem escoamentos complexos, combustão turbulenta e energia limpa. Dr. Celis tem publicado inúmeros artigos nas áreas de aerodinâmica aplicada, combustão turbulenta e dinâmica dos fluidos computacional em diferentes revistas científicas e conferências internacionais. Ele espera que as suas contribuições na área da energia possam eventualmente ajudar a reduzir o impacto dos sistemas energéticos na saúde e no meio ambiente.
