Larissa Nunes da Costa

Possui formação diversificada em Física e Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). Concluiu a graduação em Física Bacharelado em 2011, seguida pela graduação em Engenharia Elétrica com Ênfase em Sistemas Embarcados em 2022, na qual recebeu a Medalha de Bronze pela excelência no desempenho acadêmico. Obteve ainda o título de Mestre e Doutora, ambos em em Engenharia Elétrica com ênfase em Fotônica pela Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), sob orientação do Prof. Dr. Hypolito José Kalinowski, com estágio de doutoramento no ENEA C.R em Frascati, Itália. Atualmente é Bolsista DTI no Instituto LACTEC, onde desenvolve pesquisas na área de Sistemas Elétricos em alta tensão. Foi Presidente do Capítulo de Estudantes da OPTICA (antiga Optical Society of America - OSA) da UTFPR por 4 anos, tendo como objetivo a disseminação dos estudos óticos no meio acadêmico e na comunidade.

She has a diversified background in Physics and Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). She completed a bachelor's degree in Physics in 2011, followed by a degree in Electrical Engineering with Emphasis in Embedded Systems in 2022, in which she received the Bronze Medal for excellence in academic performance. She also obtained the title of Master and Doctor, both in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Photonics from the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), under the guidance of Prof. doctor Hypolito José Kalinowski, with a PhD internship at ENEA C.R in Frascati, Italy. She is currently a DTI Scholar at the LACTEC Institute, where she develops research in the area of high voltage electrical systems. She was President of the Student Chapter of OPTICA (former Optical Society of America-OSA) of UTFPR for 4 years, with the objective of disseminating optical studies in academia and the community.
