Dayse Farias da Fonseca

Master in Applied Linguistics by the Institute of Language (IEL) of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in the Foreign Language area, with a scholarship granted by the Coordination of Higher Education Personnel Improvement (CAPES), focusing on research theories of Reflexive Practice, applied to the performance and training of teachers of Portuguese as a Second Language (PL2) and Foreign Language (PLE). Graduated in Portuguese-English from FOC, having studied Classical Letters, Portuguese-Latin at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, for four years. Acting as a teacher of Portuguese for foreigners since the age of sixteen, when she began her career in the area with a Chinese student, who did not have, at the time, an interface language. From this experience, a differentiated approach based on the real need of the student begins to be developed, considering the student as the generator of LE teaching and learning and as authentic teaching material par excellence. Experience in teaching PL2 as a freelance teacher since then, notably adding more than thirty multinational companies and acting in the Consulate General of Israel in São Paulo since 2016. Extensive experience in the administration of Strategies Applied to teaching Portuguese as a second language in free courses and workshops.

Mestra em Linguística Aplicada pelo Instituto da Linguagem (IEL) da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), na área de Língua Estrangeira, com bolsa concedida pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), tendo como foco de pesquisa, teorias da Prática Reflexiva, aplicadas à atuação e formação de professores de Português como Segunda Língua (PL2) e Língua Estrangeira (PLE). Graduada em Português-Inglês pela FOC, tendo cursado Letras Clássicas, Português-Latim na Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, por quatro anos. Atuando como professora de português para estrangeiros desde os dezesseis anos de idade, época em que inicia a trajetória na área, com um estudante chinês o qual não possuía, na ocasião, língua de interface. A partir de tal experiência, uma abordagem diferenciada baseada na real necessidade do aluno começa a ser desenvolvida, considerando o aluno como gerador do ensino-aprendizagem de LE e como material didático autêntico por excelência. Experiência no ensino de PL2 como professora autônoma, desde então, somando-se, notadamente, mais de trinta empresas multinacionais e a atuação no Consulado Geral de Israel em São Paulo desde 2016. Experiência vasta na administração de cursos de Estratégias Aplicadas ao ensino de português como segunda língua em cursos livres e oficinas.
