Expertise in General Surgery, Digestive Surgery, Transplantation and Trauma Surgery (liver and intestine transplants, videolaparoscopic surgery, trauma surgery, ballistic trauma and biomechanics of injury). Assistant-Professor of Surgery at SCSM-SP from 1992 to 2009, Professor of Surgery at University July 9th (Uninove) in São Paulo - Brasil from 2010 to 2012, and Chief of the Teaching, Reasearch and Medical Training Division of the Military Police Hospital of São Paulo (MPH-SP) since 2013. Military member of the Tactical Medicine Staff at the MPH-SP. Possui graduação em Medicina pela Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo (1987). Professor-Assistente Doutor pela Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo. Tem experiência na área de Medicina - com ênfase em Cirurgia do Aparelho Digestivo, Transplantes e Cirurgia do Trauma, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: transplante de fígado e intestino, cirurgia do aparelho digestivo, coordenação dos residentes do Departamento de Cirurgia, trauma, balística e mecanismos de lesão. Atuou como cirurgião do Serviço de Transplantes de Fígado e Intestino e do Serviço de Emergência da Santa Casa de São Paulo.Membro Titular do Colégio Brasileiro de Cirurgiões (TCBC) e Oficial Médico da Polícia Militar do Estado de São Paulo.FACS (Fellow American College of Surgeons)
