D.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering (Rio de Janeiro Federal University - UFRJ) and B.Sc in Physiotherapy (Goias State University - UEG). Currently, is postdoctoral research fellow at Perlman's Lung Mechanics Lab (Stevens Institute of Technology, EUA) working in cooperation with the Pulmonary Engineering Laboratory (PEB- COPPE/UFRJ), the Respiratory Physiology Laboratory (LFR-IBCCF/UFRJ) and the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory (LEB-PPGEE/UFMG)

Doutor em Engenharia Biomédica pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) e graduado em Fisioterapia pela Universidade Estadual de Goiás (UEG). Atualmente, é pesquisador no Perlman's Lung Mechanics Lab (Stevens Institute of Technology, EUA) e colaborador dos Laboratórios de Engenharia Pulmonar (LEP-COPPE/UFRJ), de Fisiologia da Respiração (LFR-IBCCF/UFRJ) e de Engenharia Biomédica (LEB-PPGEE/UFMG).
