Yonathan Listik

I was born in Brazil but lived for most the last 9 years in Israel where I did my BA and MA. I possess a double graduation in philosophy and sociology & anthropology, along with a teaching license in philosophy, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I proceeded to do my MA (honors) at the Tel Aviv University where I also taught for two years: 'Guided Reading to Descartes´ meditations' (2 hours per week) in the first and 'Guided Reading to Hume and Kant' (4 hours per week) in the second. During my MA I participated for a semester in the political theory program at the Sciences Po Paris under an Erasmus Mundus exchange scholarship. Moreover, I have a vast teaching experience both in Israel, at the Machon LeMadrichei Chul Institute, and in Brazil, at the São Paulo Federal University (UNIFESP).Currently, I am in Colchester (UK) where I am a philosophy PhD student at the university of Essex. I am also working as a graduate teaching assistant for the government department of the university of Essex where I teach three weekly classes for the module 'Introduction to Politics'.
