Sherlan Guimarães Lemos

Holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry from Federal University of Maranhão (2000) and a PhD in Chemistry from Federal University of São Carlos (2005). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and was a visiting researcher at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain (2007) and at the University of Lincoln, England (2019-2020). He was General Coordinator of Research in the Pro-Rectory of Research at UFPB and Deputy Pro-Rector of Research between 2016-2018, and also Vice-Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Chemistry at UFPB between 2016-2019. He is a CNPq Research Productivity Scholar since 2009 and has a background in Analytical Chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: Electroanalytical Chemistry, Chemometrics and Sensors.

Possui graduação em Química Industrial pela Universidade Federal do Maranhão (2000) e doutorado em Química pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2005). Atualmente é professor Associado da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB). Foi pesquisador visitante na Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Espanha (2007) e na University of Lincoln, Inglaterra (2019-2020). Foi Coordenador-Geral de Pesquisa junto à Pró-Reitoria de Pesquisa da UFPB e Pró-Reitor Adjunto de Pesquisa entre 2016-2018. Também foi vice-coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Química da UFPB entre 2016-2019. É bolsista de Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq desde 2009. Tem formação em Química Analítica e atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Química Eletroanalítica, Quimiometria e Sensores.
