Silvio Luis Rafaeli Neto

He holds a degree in Agronomy from the State University of Santa Catarina (1986), a Master's degree in Geodesic Sciences from the Federal University of Paraná (1994) and a PhD in Engineering / Geoprocessing from the University of São Paulo (2000). He is currently Associate Professor of the Environmental Engineering Department of the State University of Santa Catarina. Has experience in the application of Geomatics / Geoprocessing in the areas of rural and urban cadastre, certification of rural properties, management of water resources and implementation of Geographic Information Systems in public agencies. He acts in the research line Technology and Environmental Modeling at the Master Course in Environmental Sciences of UDESC-Lages. He coordinates the Laboratory of Hydrology, which develops works in the following areas: Socio-Hydrology, Natural Disasters (Floods), Geo-Hydrology, Water Resource Management and Watershed Monitoring, Hydrometry.
