Fábio Pitombo Leite

Dr. Leite has research lines in both Cognitive Psychology and Administration. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the Ohio State University, teaching several cognitive psychology courses at its Lima campus.He graduated cum laude in Mathematics at Washington College (MD, USA; 1999), earned an MBA from the Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA; 2002), and earned a Ph.D. in Mathematical Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, Irvine (USA, 2005). He also worked as a postdoctoral researcher for two years at the Ohio State University's central campus in Columbus before starting his current tenure-track professorship in the 2007-08 academic year He was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure ahead of the 2013-14 academic year and has received campus awards in teaching (2012), scholarship (2013), and research mentorship (2015). From July 2015 through December 2019, he served full time as Associate Dean, remaining an active scholar via collaborative research projects.
