Andréa Cristina Scarpa Bosso-Holzlsauer

Ingressou no curso de Medicina Veterinária Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU) em Uberlândia, MG, no ano de 2000, concluindo-o em 2005. Desde 2001 é colaboradora do Laboratório de Ensino e Pesquisa em Animais Silvestres (LAPAS-UFU), onde participa da rotina do Ambulatório de Animais Silvestres e Selvagens, vinculado ao Hospital Veterinário da UFU, além de colaborar em diversas publicações na área. No ano de 2006 iniciou o Mestrado em Ciências Veterinárias na mesma instituição, onde pesquisou os efeitos dos bloqueadores neuromusculares em tartaruga-da-Amazônia (Podocnemis expansa). Em 2008 iniciou o Doutorado em Cirurgia Veterinária na Universidade Estadual Paulista ?Júlio de Mesquita Filho? campus Jaboticabal, onde realizou estudos morfológicos da veia porta hepática da paca (Cuniculus paca). Continuou a pesquisa em animais silvestres e nos anos de 2009 a 2014 cursou a Ciências Biológicas na mesma instituição. No ano de 2011, ingressou como professora no Centro Educacional e Técnico de Jaboticabal, ministrando as disciplinas de Ética e Cidadania, Microbiologia e Parasitologia e Anatomia e Fisiologia Humana para o curso Técnico em Enfermagem. Após a conclusão do doutorado em 2012, ingressou como docente substituta na Universidade de Brasília, ministrando as disciplinas de Anatomia e Fisiologia Comparada dos Animais Domésticos, Nutrição Animal, Nutrição de Monogástricos e Cunicultura até o final de 2013. No ano seguinte, iniciou seus estudos com Medicina Veterinária Tradicional Chinesa com a especialização Lato Sensu em Acupuntura Veterinária pelo Instituto Bioethicus em Botucatu, SP, onde, no mesmo ano, realizou o curso de Formação em Fitoterapia Chinesa Veterinária. Em 2016, ingressou como docente do curso de Medicina Veterinária, ministrando as disciplinas de Eixo Integrador no 2º, 4º e 6º período, Embriologia Veterinária e Histologia Veterinária na Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Agrárias de Itapeva em Itapeva, SP. Em 2017, após aprovação em primeira colocação no Concurso Público objeto do Edital nº 001/2016, iniciou a carreira de Professor do Ensino Superior na Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT), onde ministra para o curso de Medicina Veterinária as disciplinas de Anatomia Descritiva dos Animais Domésticos I, II, Anatomia Topográfica e Tópicos Especiais em Enfermagem Veterinária e ministra a disciplina de Anatomia Animal para o curso de Zootecnia, sendo responsável docente pelo Laboratório de Anatomia Animal e membro do Núcleo Docente Estruturante do Curso de Medicina Veterinária da mesma instituição. Após o ingresso na UFT, continuou a pesquisa em animais domésticos e selvagens, adicionando ênfase em Medicina Veterinária Integrativa, orientando alunos da graduação em iniciações científicas relacionados ao tema de estudos morfológicos da localização de acupontos em diferentes espécies domésticas e silvestres, como parte do Projeto do CNPq ?Morfologia, Cirurgia e Medicina Integrativa dos Animais Domésticos e Selvagens da Amazônia Legal?. Também colabora com o Grupo de Estudos de Pequenos Animais da UFT (CLINPET-UFT), Grupo de Estudo e Extensão em Animais Silvestres do Tocantins (GEASTO) difundindo as terapias que compõem a Medicina Veterinária Integrativa para os alunos de Medicina Veterinária da universidade e comunidade. É coordenadora do Grupo de Estudos de Medicina Veterinária Integrativa e Reabilitação Animal (GEMIRA-UFT) e vinculou o Ambulatório de Medicina Veterinária Integrativa à Clínica Veterinária Universitária da UFT onde realiza atendimentos de medicina veterinária integrativa e reabilitação animal em animais domésticos, exóticos e selvagens. Em 2018 estudou Terapia Neural na Asociación Odontológica Salteña, em Salta, Argentina. Em 2020, realizou a especialização Lato Sensu em Medicina Veterinária de Animais Silvestres pela Faculdade Unyleya em Brasília, DF. Desde o ingresso como docente na atual instituição, recebeu diversos prêmios nas áreas de Morfologia e Medicina Veterinária Integrativa

She started the Veterinary Medicine course at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) in Uberlândia, MG, in 2000, completing it in 2005. Since 2001, she has collaborated with the Laboratory for Teaching and Research in Wild Animals (LAPAS-UFU), where she participates of the routine of the Wild and Wild Animals Ambulatory, linked to the UFU Veterinary Hospital, in addition to collaborating in several publications in the area. In 2006 she started her Master's degree in Veterinary Science at the same institution, where she researched the effects of neuromuscular blockers in Amazon river turtle. In 2008 she began her Doctorate in Veterinary Surgery at the São Paulo State University ?Júlio de Mesquita Filho? campus Jaboticabal, where she carried out morphological studies of the hepatic portal vein of Cuniculus paca. She continued her research on wild animals and from 2009 to 2014 she studied Biological Sciences at the same institution. In 2011, she joined as a professor at the Educational and Technical Center of Jaboticabal, teaching the disciplines of Ethics and Citizenship, Microbiology and Parasitology and Anatomy and Human Physiology for the Nursing Technician course. After completing his doctorate in 2012, she joined as a substitute professor at the University of Brasília, teaching the disciplines of Anatomy and Comparative Physiology of Domestic Animals, Animal Nutrition, Monogastric Nutrition and Cuniculture until the end of 2013. In the following year, she began her studies with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in a Lato Sensu specialization in Veterinary Acupuncture, at the Bioethicus Institute in Botucatu, SP, where, in the same year, she took the Training Course in Veterinary Chinese Phytotherapy. In 2016, she joined as a professor of the Veterinary Medicine course, teaching the subjects of Integrator Axis in the 2nd, 4th and 6th period, Veterinary Embryology and Veterinary Histology at the Faculty of Social and Agricultural Sciences of Itapeva in Itapeva, SP. In 2017, after being approved in first place in the Public Tender object of Notice No. 001/2016, she began his career as a Professor of Higher Education at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), where she teaches the disciplines of Descriptive Anatomy of Domestic Animals I, II, Topographic Anatomy and Special Topics in Veterinary Nursing in the Veterinary Medicine course and teaches Animal Anatomy for the Animal Science course, being responsible for the Animal Anatomy Laboratory and member of the Structuring Nucleus of the Veterinary Medicine Course at the same institution. After joining UFT, she continued her research on domestic and wild animals, adding emphasis on Integrative Veterinary Medicine, advising undergraduate students on scientific initiations related to the topic of morphological studies of the location of acupoints in different domestic and wild species, as part of the Project of the CNPq ?Morphology, Surgery and Integrative Medicine of Domestic and Wild Animals in the Legal Amazon?. She also collaborates with the UFT Small Animal Study Group (CLINPET-UFT), the Tocantins Wild Animal Study and Extension Group (GEASTO) spreading the therapies that make up Integrative Veterinary Medicine to university and community Veterinary Medicine students. She coordinates the Integrative Veterinary Medicine and Animal Rehabilitation Study Group (GEMIRA-UFT) and linked the Integrative Veterinary Medicine Ambulatory to the UFT University Veterinary Clinic, where she provides integrative veterinary medicine and animal rehabilitation services for domestic, exotic and wild animals. In 2018 she studied Neural Therapy at the Asociación Odontológica Salteña, in Salta, Argentina. In 2021, she took the Lato Sensu specialization in Veterinary Medicine for Wild Animals at Unyleya Faculty in Brasília, DF. Since joining the current institution as a professor, she has received several awards in the areas of Morphology and Integrative Veterinary Medicine.
