Jéssica Balbino

Journalist, master in communication, scientific and cultural divulgation by Labjor / Iel of Unicamp (2016), graduated in journalism by Unifae (2006), produces the 360º report, entitled Margens (www.margens.com.br), researcher of Brazilian marginal / peripheral / contemporary literature. I participate rigorously in debates on culture, art, human rights, literature and the periphery. I directed and produced the documentary "Pelas Margens" in 2016 and was already awarded by the Ministry of Culture with the book "Hip-Hop - A Marginal Culture" in 2010. Specialized in literary / digital and community journalism, I am also a cultural producer. I was editor of the G1 for four years. I was a press and communication consultant for the Inquiry between 2010 and 2016, and I was in charge of activities such as the campaign to combat alcohol "Um Brinde", the creation, production and communication of the Parada Poética parade, as well as activity linked to the media and content production in the period Of 6 years. Producer of two books published in the period. (Www.souinquerito.com.br) I have experience in the area of ​​Communication, with emphasis on journalism and publishing. I have experience in the area of ​​communication with emphasis on journalism, digital media, communication consulting, cultural production, cultural marketing, and notions of radiojournalism and telejournalism. I also have professional experience in socio-cultural projects, in literature oriented to the research of peripheries and marginal culture and in daily journalism in printed newspapers. Acting and research focused on themes: communication and culture, alternative journalism, social-cultural mobilization, cultural industry, media and culture and popular cultures. I am the author of the books Traficando Conhecimento (Aeroplano, 2010) and Hip-Hop: The Marginal Culture (Independente, 2006), besides participating as coauthor of different works related to marginal literature and hip-hop.

Possui graduação em Comuniacação Social - Jornalismo pelo Centro Universitário das Faculdades Associadas de Ensino (2006) e mestrado em Divulgação Científica e Cultural pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2016). Tem experiência na área de Comunicação, com ênfase em Jornalismo e Editoração, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: literatura marginal, periferia, jornalismo, hip-hop;cultura poular; cultura marginal; e documentário.
