Gustavo Oliveira Pugliese
Doutor en educação pela Faculdade de Educação da USP, com ênfase em STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education, tecnologias para a educação e o PISA. Realizou mestrado no Instituto de Biologia ? Unicamp com um período na Universidade de Washington (EUA). É formado em Letras (2011) e Ciências Biológicas (2015) pela Unicamp. É fellow do programa YLAI (Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative), do Departamento de Estado dos EUA; Participou do programa STEAM Tech Camp Brasil 2019 e 2020; e do International Network of Education Institutes, sobre STEM education, na Universidade de Beijing (China). Atualmente é fellow do programa German Chancellor Fellowship, da fundação Alexander von Humboldt. Possui experiência como formador de professores em STEAM e uso de tecnologia para a sala de aula, foi avaliador do Ministério da Educação na plataforma Evidências e é autor de livros didáticos do PNLD (Programa Nacional do Livro Didático).
PhD in education at the University of Sao Paulo. Gustavo holds two academic degrees: Portuguese Language Teaching and Biology, obtained at the University of Campinas. He holds a master degree in Science Education obtained at Biology Institute of Unicamp, with an internship at the University of Washington (US). He was the head of a nonprofit organization for underrepresented minorities from public schools and he is the founder of a mentorship program to low-income students. Gustavo coordinates Digital Fluency projects in schools and facilitates workshops for teachers from all over Brazil. He is a fellow of the YLAI (Young Leaders of Americas Initiative), a distinct program of the US Department of State for young entrepreneurs; and was selected for the INEI (International Network of Educational Institutes) summer school, based in Beijing Normal University. He is the author of scientific papers, scientific dissemination articles, interviews for the general media, conferences and curriculums. Main areas of activity: teacher professional development, project management, educational program coordination, and STEM Education.
