Engenheiro Eletrônico com Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica e Mestrado em Biofísica Radiobiologia. Professor Titular da UFRN (Full Professor), lotado na ênfase Negócios Tecnológicos da Escola de Ciências e Tecnologia. Implantou o Mestrado Profissional em Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação (primeiro em inovação pura em IFES no Brasil) e o curso de Engenharia Biomédica (único no RN). Criou a primeira incubadora da UFRN (INOVA METRÓPOLE), base para a implementação de mais 04 incubadoras. Compôs a equipe que implantou o Metrópole Digital e seu respectivo Parque Tecnológico. Sua trajetória impactou no desenvolvimento de pelo menos 200 startups na região e Brasil (dados de 2020).Atualmente trabalha a metodologia de base científica-negocial Triztorming (https://triztorming.com/), orientada à geração metódica de insights em negócios, os momentos "Eureka" que precedem e são imprescindíveis à criatividade. Os 25 métodos de insights elaborados, fruto do trabalho de desenvolvimento da metodologia em sala de aula e da aplicação em mais de 20 empresas ao longo de 12 anos, estão em processo de edição por editora de grande porte, que resultará em livro único na produção de insights e ideias radicais e sólidas orientados à criação de negócios. Cultua a Ciência-Empreendedora, tentando, junto a colaboradores, estabelecer seus princípios, seguindo o lema forjado por ele próprio: "Pensemos o Empreendedorismo de forma científica e a Ciência de forma empreendedora".

He has high school, undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees in electronics. Associate Professor IV at UFRN. Researcher in Innovative Extension by CNPq.He implemented and coordinated the 1st Master of Pure Innovation at a Public University in the country. He implanted the 1st Business Incubator at UFRN and acted in the implementation of another 05, having managed three of these, which have already supported more than 200 enterprises. He created the first postgraduate course on the Russian methodology TRIZ (Theory for Inventive Problem Solving), which is capable of generating innovations systematically focused on business. Created the 1st Department of Biomedical Eng. RN. Worked on the implementation of the Technological Business emphasis at UFRN, to introduce new minds in Innovative Entrepreneurship. He coordinated the 1st Innovation Master in Public University in the Country, responsible for structuring a dozen startups for graduate students.He is CEO of Startup IncaaS Startup generator of Startups, which aims to be a real interface between the Academy and the Market. Works in the column Innovative Entrepreneurship on the Portal Nossa Ciência (https://nossaciencia.com.br/categoria-colunas/empreendedorismo-inovador/), having written more than 120 Condensed Classes dedicated to the theme, whose dilution is used by teachers in their classes on Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation.Currently, he works in the development of methods in the areas of Innovative Entrepreneurship and TRIZ, and of products in Electronic Instrumentation and Embedded Systems, in order to narrow the University-Market dipole, defending Science as the basic nucleus of Entrepreneurship, following the motto forged by himself: "Let us think of Entrepreneurship in a scientific way and Science in an entrepreneurial way".
