Doctorate degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation Engineering. Extensive experience in various aspects of roadway safety. Traffic simulation and field experience in the design of signalized intersections and traffic networks with emphasis on traffic safety. Bachelor?s degree in Civil Engineering with focus in structures and civil engineering design. Consultant on projects related to solving traffic problems through simulation and design as well as expert witness. Offered seminars and workshops for engineers on the fundamentals of traffic engineering including the use of traffic software for the planning, design and analysis of signalized intersections, traffic networks, highway geometric design and highway safety. Extensive teaching experience in transportation engineering and applied mechanics with excellent student evaluations at undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Puerto Rico.
