Marcio Jean Fialho de Sousa

Post-doctoral studies in Language Studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo, PUCSP, he is a Doctor and Master in Literature, in the area of ​​Portuguese Literature, at the University of Sao Paulo - USP. Specialist in Theology, also by UniFAI-SP, and in English by Paulista State University, UNESP. He is currently a Professor at the State University of Montes Claros, UNIMONTES; accredited in the Master's Program, and develops his second post-doctorate, in the area of ​​Literary Studies of UNIMONTES. He has wrked as a university professor in several universities in the State of Sao Paulo and worked in the Education Department of Sao Paulo coach of teachers in several projects of the Department, working in the areas of Portuguese, English and Literacy. He was responsible for the implementation of the "Early Bird pilot project: teaching English fro children", with the Education Department of the State of Sao Paulo. In 2017, he received the Paulista Teacher Title in the City Council of Sao Paulo. He has experience in Literature, with emphasis on Portuguese Language Literature, Teaching and Language Studies, mainly working in the following subjects: Portuguese Literature, African Literature of Portuguese Language; Autobiographical Writing; Eça de Queiroz, Teolinda Gersao, Florbela Espanca and English Language Teaching.

Professor da Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros - UNIMONTES, membro permanente do PPGL - Estudos Literários, Coordenador do Grupo de Pesquisa Teolinda Gersão (PPGL-UNIMONTES) e do Grupo de Leitura no Museu (MRNM/PPGL-UNIMONTES). Membro Pesquisador do Grupo Eça-USP / CNPq , do GT Literatura Portuguesa da ANPOLL e sócio fundador da Associação Amigos do Museu - MRNM-UNIMONTES. Membro da Equipe Técnica, como Coordenador Pedagógico Adjunto, do PNLD 2021, responsável pelas Obras Literárias em Língua inglesa. Em 2017, concluiu Pós-doutorado em Linguística Aplicada e Estudos da Linguagem pela PUC-SP e, em 2019, concluiu Pós-doutoramento em Estudos Literários pela UNIMONTES. Doutor e Mestre em Letras pela Universidade de São Paulo ? USP. Possui Especialização em Teologia, pelo Centro Universitário Assunção - UniFAI-SP, e em Língua Inglesa pela Universidade Estadual Paulista ? UNESP. Atuou como professor universitário em diversas IES do Estado de São Paulo. Trabalhou com formação de professores pela Secretaria de Educação do Estado de São Paulo, tendo sido também um dos responsáveis pela implantação do Projeto Early Bird de Ensino de Inglês nas séries iniciais. Tem experiência na área de Letras, com ênfase em Literatura Portuguesa, atuando, principalmente, com: Literaturas de Língua Portuguesa e Literaturas Marginais; Eça de Queirós e Teolinda Gersão.
